Military Service

Click here to learn more about DOUG’S military service to our country. DOUG earned the title, “United States Marine,” and served as a Marine Officer from 1989 until 2000. In 2000, DOUG transferred to the Oklahoma Army National Guard. He retired in 2016 at the rank of Colonel. While serving with the Oklahoma Army National Guard, DOUG commanded the 1-279th Infantry Battalion while deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2007 until October of 2008.
